“Who Represents You?” in Pima County Click on any precinct number in the table below to get a flyer that is precisely tailored to fit that precinct–the Legislative (LD) and Supervisor (SD) Districts, the Justice Precinct (JP), and the Tucson Ward (TW). These divisions overlap each other; there are 76 distinct “voting regions” for the 266 Pima precincts that actually have voters living in them (12 more precincts are just empty areas created by various re-districtings).
Precinct numbers containing “ -T ” in the table below: some voter precincts include parts of both the City of Tucson and non-city Pima County, or parts of two or even three Wards within the City. Those precincts have a different flyer for each of their “voting regions”, so they have two (or even three) entries in the table below: • just the plain precinct number, for the non-city area of the precinct, and • the precinct number followed by “-T” and a Ward number for the Tucson area(s) of the precinct.
If you don’t know what precinct (or Ward) you’re in, just go to the Pima County Recorder’s Web site (click here) and click on “Voter Information”, then click “Find Your Precinct/District”, then enter an address. You’ll get a list of every election district for that address, including the non-partisan-election ones (School, Fire, etc.). See below (after the table) for more information on printing, personalizing, and sources. |

Printing: be sure to print the flyer in its original size, without reducing it; that is, if your printer offers you options, choose “original size” or “no scaling” or “100%” (or some such), but don’t choose “fit/shrink to printable area” or anything like that. The flyers are in “PDF” format, so it’s best to use Adobe Reader to view and print the document. If you have a problem with viewing or printing, just send an e-mail to grassroots@northsidedems.org and we’ll do our best to help solve it. ☞ And don’t forget that you can write your contact information in the space at the bottom, where it says “For more information, please contact your neighborhood Democratic volunteer:”. To personalize it a bit, you may want to use non-black ink and perhaps also highlight the precinct number in the list at the top of the page. Sources: We’ve used information from several Web sites and election data reports to compile these flyers, but the most broadly helpful are the booklets published by the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson, The Citizen's Directory of Elected Officials. Click on the link, then click on “Publications”.
This is a work in progress. Your criticisms, corrections, suggestions, comments, and questions are earnestly solicited and will be gratefully received; please e-mail them to grassroots@northsidedems.org. |
